Mr. Magoo
Mr. Magoo, or just Gooey for short, is our 12+ year old permanent foster dog. Gooey came to us for the first time in 2008 after his owner became disabled and could no longer care for him. After staying with us a few months he was adopted by a local family and lived with them for about a year until they had to relocate to the Philippines. Considering his age and state of health we decided to adopt him ourselves and let him live out the rest of his life with our pack.
Mr. Magoo is a typical Chihuahua; he likes to strut around as if he owns the place and is always there to give a good warning bark to any potential intruders. He's also taken it upon himself to be the official fun police whenever he feels that the other dogs are getting too playful in the yard or around the house. Despite his seemingly grumpy exterior, Gooey is very social and has never met a stranger. Young, old or middle aged, he loves all people and can often be found asking for a scratch or two behind the ears or a warm lap to curl up on.
