RBIMBS Ch. Vakvagta Fecni (Fecni)
Fecni is co-owned and lives with our good friend Sally Barron of Barron Borzoi. Fecni emigrated from Hungary to the United States in 2007 at the age of 2 and quickly settled in to her new home in the country side. Fecni is a classicly old fashioned MA and is a true cuddle bug. If she has any opportunity to jump in your lap she will eagerly take it!
Although Fecni participates politely and with good sportsmanship, racing is not her strong point and she is often affectionately granted the turtle award.
Fecni's true calling and real passion lies in open field coursing. This girl is a hunter extraordinaire and loves nothing more than a good run after the wiley jack rabbit. On her first season out, Fecni won her very first hunt and earned her first points towards her NOFCA championship. Since then she has consistently placed in both rare breed and mixed hunts.
Fecni began her conformation show career in 2008 and has competed in both Rarities and UKC conformation events. In April '09 she wowed us all by winning a UKC Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show, beating some of the top dogs in the country! She is the very first Magyar Agar to achieve such a distinction in the UKC show circuit and we couldn't be prouder. Fecni finished her UKC championship in June '09 with a Best Female class win under Judge Jim Jones. We are hoping to continue showing Fecni in UKC and to start showing her at IABCA international shows as well.
When she is not racing, hunting or showing Fecni can often be found playing and acting like an over grown puppy. She is always up for some good old fashioned wrestling and enjoys collecting and chewing up any toy or other toy-like object she can find. She also enjoys a good snuggle on the couch every now and then.
