About Us
The human side of Stout-Hearted Hounds consists of sister-sister team, Audrey and Olivia Hsia. We grew up around dogs but are fairly new to the world of dog fanciers. Although we share responsibility for all of our "children," Audrey is the main caretaker of the hounds while Olivia is the main caretaker of the terriers.
Audrey is currently studying Anthropology at the University of California Davis. Outside of the dog fancy she enjoys working on art projects and collecting classic film paraphernalia. She is even beginning to dabble in web design and graphic art. When she's not busy taking care of her own dogs she devotes much of her time to the rescue effort. Having shared her life with many adopted dogs over the years, she is dedicated to helping homeless dogs find forever families. She is currently serving as President of the North American Magyar Agar Association (NAMAA).
Olivia is currently majoring in Food Science at the University of California, Davis. While her terriers consume most of her energy and devotion, she spends her free time cooking, planning meals, surfing the web for new recipes, jogging with the hounds, playing piano, and collecting Smurfs and vintage sheet music. She has also started building her own website. After discovering Opal and Beryl's passion for racing and lure coursing, Olivia is now inspired to encourage others to find their dogs' hidden potential.
